It occurred to me last night - Kamui and Daisuke fought at night-time. So the likelyhood is that Dai is dark-blonde or dirty-blonde. Curse you, shadows! We need to get him into the daylight, & then I'll stop being sceptical.

...As for Daisuke, Arthur said "Young wind-guy die HORRIBLY!" (so at least his death-scene was memorable). I shall most definitely be trying to convince Arthur of Keiichi & Daisuke's obvious rightness for each other, in future.
Oh, he mentioned Kusanagi too! Arthur thinks he should get a cool power to fight with. According to him, the talking to plants & animals is neat, but Kusanagi needs something with a little more force. I guess I agree, but Kusa seems such a gentle soul...despite being a soldier and all. Hmm.

ali-chan, you're quite right. It's certainly not the end of the world. And there is always evil in this life, it's all just a matter of different people's perspectives on right & wrong. There's also no need to lose hope when change is possible - it's never too late! Never! (that's not my optimism talking, it's just my observation of Life-in-general. Anything is possible, it's simply a matter of being brave enough to make it happen).

BROWN!

Brown? Duckroll-sama has informed me that Daisuke's hair is BROWN!! *shakes head* Not blonde. How can this be? In the manga his hair isn't even shaded in! Not at all! (perhaps they're just trying to make the family resemblance to Aoki more clear. Given that, there is none. Which is kind of ironic given that Yuzu and Kei-chan look like Aoki's illegitimate children, but anyway...^_-). Okay, I think I'll just laugh this off and wait to see if Dai-kun gets onto a tarot card.
Ah, black eyes too. That's like in the manga, where whenever Dai's not close-up his eyes are shaded black. HOWEVER, when there's a big close-up of him, his eyes are in fact pale. Even in X 13 before he gets...*makes sawing motion in front of throat* So I'm still betting on grey for his real true eye-colour.

...at least I have the octupus tie to console me. *^__^*

The Eyes Have It.

Geez, this is really weird! I took the animagus form test, and I got DOG as my number one! @_@ I've always been a dog person in so far as they're my favourite animal (dogs, wolves, anything of the canine variety), but I never actually thought of myself as a dog. Oh well, COOL! :D
Secondly was 'rabbit' (boingy, boingy, yup ^_^), and thirdly 'bat' (Ummmmmmmm. Riiiiiiiiight. At least now I know I have something in common with Bruce Wayne, hee hee).
Here's me speaking Dog: BOWOWOWOWOW! (I know how to growl cos my dog taught me how)ggggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrr *opens eyes wide* RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...and that, my friends, is about the most you can get out of verbal communication from a dog. It's mostly all body-language, and dogs are very sensitive to this in humans (and the word 'walk' of course). Eye contact is a clear threat - it's so funny. Have you ever seen two dogs meet at the park, & they won't look at each other's faces? XD Merlie used to quickly avert his eyes, only there was no problem with him sniffing the other dog's butt! *cracks up* Ah, canines. *^__^*

I might soon be finding out what colour Daisuke's eyes are. No, this is really exciting for me!^^; Thank goodness for the TV anime - although they'll probably be, what, pink *nods to Lika* or purple *going by the OVA, XD* or, I don't know...*spins colour-wheel* VIRIDIAN! MIDNIGHT BLUE! EGGSHELL YELLOW! MAGENTA! CLOUD GREEN! ROSEY APRICOT!...take your pick. I just want an official colour, ANY colour. It's so terrible having no colour pictures of Dai-kun. Ok, so this is a risk when falling for a side-character, but Daisuke was no side-character. He was right there in the main plot-line from the very beginning, and the repurcussions of his death were not confined to Aoki and Hinoto. Sorata, Arashi and the Sumeragi seemed to regret his demise. Kamui and Yuzu-chan were clearly upset on returning to the Diet Building's basement & the reality that Saiki-dono was not there.
*sighs* Yeah, Saiki deserves a manga colour pic. I was so glad that Tokiko (I liked her a lot, she was cool) got one by virtue of being on a tarot card...all I can do is hope madly that Daisuke will get a card. C'mon CLAMP, he got into a side-story (Yuzu was right about him being cute at age 10 :P) and a character CD (thanks, Aoki, I owe you one!) as well, Saiki deserves to get a tarot card assigned to him!!!!!!! I think in the major arcana, there's only about one spare spot once you figure in Hokuto (? will she get a card? It would be quite nice), Kusanagi, and of course Fuuma. It's one spare spot that Saiki ought to fill.
Naturally there's nothing I'd like better than to see a colour pic of Keiichi. He is a side-character, I understand that, & I'm pretty much reconciled to it. But damn it, Dai-kun is worth at least that amount of recognition. And, *erk* I want to know his hair colour also. Well, sort of. Poor ali-chan had to break the terrible news that *shudder* Daisuke is a BLONDE. *pats her* Thankyou. Someone had to tell me, & I'd rather it be you!! I'm still not coping, though...his hair just seemed to be white to me. The root of this, I think, is Merriman. Merry, tall and imposing, had a shock of white hair. And he was stern at times, so maybe I saw something of him in Daisuke. Or maybe I simply think white hair is cool, 'cause of Merry. ^__^

Keiichi scores!!

So Arthur rang me up last night, and here is part of our conversation:

ARTHUR: So what do you think Kamui's wish is NOW? ME: *heavy sigh, pained expression* Y'know, we've been talking about this online [DoS, YATTA! *^__^*] for ages, and I really don't know.
ARTHUR: I think he might wish to protect his schoolfriend.
ME: ...which schoolfriend??
ARTHUR: *sounding mischevious*The over-friendly guy.
ME: *SPLUTTER* Y-you don't mean Keiichi?! *jumps around the kitchen*
ARTHUR: Yes. Because his father die in one earthquake, and his mother die in another. Kamui should protect him!
ME: *SQUEAL* I'm so happy to hear you say that! It was so nasty of Clamp, and Keiichi's so CUTE...

Yeah, Arthur likes Kei-chan cos he's gay. And he's gay. *laughs* Oh, Keiichi would be so glad to know he has at least one male fanboy (a nice Chinese-Malay guy, what d'ya think, Kei? :P). Arthur was also wondering what was going on between Kasumi and the older wind-guy,*snik*...I explained that they were perfect for each other, but the wind-guy's married.

In honour of this, I'm going to add ScreamingGaaaaaaaaay!Keiichi into my range of toys. Accessories include a t-shirt inscribed 'make me your girlfriend', pink sequined hotpants, and (what the heck, Kei has nice legs ^_-) knee-high go-go dancer boots. Tee hee.
However, Kim, I'm suddenly reminded of the 'Tickle Me Elmo' debacle that occured last year. See, my room-mate and I went to the mall, & happened to go into Toyworld. We played with most of the toys, including Elmo - who, once tickled, giggled and then suddenly started vibrating rapidly in the most alarming manner. I was going "whoa! Elmo's possessed!", but my roomie (being his usual self *long-suffering sigh* >_<) was absolutely sure that Elmo was orgasming. He tried to convince me of this every time the 'tickle me' toys were advertised on TV.
So I think I'll have to scrap the TickleMe!Keiichi toys and go the whole hog - LittleUke!Keiichi toys, which have the vibrating-mechanism-thingee installed (hmmm, what part of his body should you press to make it go? *winks*).
BTW, I know about Keiichi dancing naked in the moonlight, drinking virgin-girl blood and ::CENSORED, CENSORED:: goats with virgin boys. It's the highlight of my week. ^__________________^ (Um, but I thought Keiichi was chairperson of Kamui's class? Therefore approximately 16 years old?).

I love the idea of Aoki going around stuffing octupi down the pants of Asuka Magazine staff!!!! XD Better yet, he can stick them down his tetchy nephew's pants (mmmmmmmm, Dai-kun + Octupus Pants! *nosebleed* XDDDDD). Living in the tie's thrall is fun. I've even written a song for it:

And congrats on your aniversary (what a sweet and adorable picture!! *cracks up* XD) plus new job! Hopefully it won't suck. ^_^ Yep, over here it's the middle of spring (AAAAAAAAAAAA! Sakura blossom! *springtime is the season of terror*) so not too cold. But as I say, I'm used to swimming on a blacksand beach, where the sand has lots of iron in it & burns your feet, and there are tidal rips if you go out more than ten metres, and there are lovely poisonous jellyfish if you're VERY lucky! *chortles* (yay, I is so tough! *goes back to cushy indoor pool* ^_~).

My X collection had been sadly lacking in volumes 8 and 10 (well, I actually had the S/S bits in 8^^; DAH! Typical...), until last night when my friend Arthur [yes, Karen, all the good guys are either taken or gay, the latter in his case] came over to drop off some 'books' he'd hired. Namely X!! *dances around* I've pushed X on poor Arthur for a long time, & he finally managed to find a place with the Chinese version (Mandarin, I believe. Arthur can read it; I can't). Unfortunately they're not for sale.
So anyway, I finally got to SEE the beginning of X 8, namely Yuzu and Daisuke going to visit Aoki!!!! I've practically memorised the translation of that part (Daisuke-kun as a kindergartener! *shrieks* :D) but I had no idea! Aoki! *wags finger at him* I thought you were such a nice guy, and yet I think you ENJOY teasing the hell out of your nephew! HA! XD And YOU, Dai-chan, what a face to make! *cracks up* Oh man, that is wild!! *gets down on knees* I want to marry you.

I dream of you...

I dreamt about Aoki last night. He was filing this huge stack of white papers. Hmmm. What is this? Don't get me wrong, I ADORE windmaster senior. His intro (fighting curse-zombies with *insert squeals & sparkles* ARASHIIIII!! :D) was great, and the moment he gave his umbrella to Ara-chan I knew I would worship him forever. And I'm currently in the thrall of the (TV series) octopus tie. Genius, utter genius. *bows to the tie* But he's not one of my special favourites...so I can only attribute this to my genki-centric personality.
Well, at least there were no frickin' TRAINS this time. The only other dream I had about Aoki (my very first X dream), he was on a train with a kid when the DoE attacked it. I s'pose I should be asking "why trains?" Fujitaka really does not strike me as the train-driving sort. -A mystery for the ages, then! *laughs*

Today we went swimming again! YAY! Emily came too this time, and we spent about ten minutes watching the pool attendants setting up this big blow-up bouncey slide thing. But we didn't get to go on it cos it was for this after-school swimming programme! ;_; *wails* Not fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What's the point of being grown-up if ya can't play on the bouncey slides? *sniff, pout*
So we drowned our sorrows with caramel-chocolate milkshakes (see? We are 12 years old!! ;p).
Then we took Em's mum (she's visiting, BTW. that's why Em & I are entertaining her) to the museum/art gallery. Oh, heh heh, Emily wants us to become famous authors so that we'll have stuff written about us like in the museum - "Amelia was part of 'The Group' run by Jenny...associate of Emily..." (that sort of thing). Although I'm more likely to be an artist starving in a garret, ^_~.
After that we went to the sweet-shop to get fudge, and the second-hand bookshop. It was raining the whole time, too, so I'm feeling an empathy with water at the moment.

Lika-chan, Karen's eyes are absolutely positively GOLD. If they're any other colour in the anime, it's wrong. Wow, she looked so hot! :P Of course, my response to the TV pics was staring at the picture of Arashi gob-smacked and going "she is sooooo beautiful!" ^__^
More importantly, I'm glad to hear that brother of yours got hitched okay! Oh, poor you, missing out on the food! Noooooo! Is bad! >_<

ali-chan, I seem to recall my brother explaining to Emily about the forth dimension in the town library...twelve years ago, I think! It was interesting, but I don't really remember much now. What is it; you have three dimensions, and the forth would be an extension thereof? *smiles* Speaking as a Doctor Who fan, I simply say the forth dimension is space (or is that time? @_@).

The thing I found most interesting about Karen was when she met Nataku, and she said "you only think it is so" (about Nataku's belief that it can't feel emotions). I have to say; I think she's right! It seems as if everybody else goes "ohhhh, you can't feel anything, can you" to Nataku, but Karen saw something else in it - the small child lost and alone. There are hints in the latest Asuka about this relationship, so I hope it will be explored further.
And of course her side-story is the saddest. Her eyes when the doctor told Karen her mother was dead; WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Poor baby! I was interested when you said "she's being so strong! *sob*", Lika, since that's exactly the way I feel about Keiichi. *sighs* Poor smoo-head. The thing that suprised me was when he sat down and spilled his guts about what had happened to his mother; then he turns around and starts reassuring Kamui! Geez, I think this boy must be some kind of saint.
Of course, he's got that weird 'happy/sad' thing going on as well. It was a cool idea of Nanase's to introduce Kamui's new school friend as this hyperactive little bunny (on crack *^__^*), and then totally undermine Kamui's initial impression once he gets to know him better. Has more impact that way.
But each to their own, Lika! You take the flaming-hot redhead, I'll take the dorky blonde. ^___^

Chemical cleaning!

Yesterday, Emily's mum took me to go swimming. (Yes, I am 12 years old!! XD) It was such a cool place! Now, I haven't been to an indoor pool in YEARS (only swimming on proper black-sand beaches like a tough person, RAR! >:D), so it was quite a shock to see the latest innovations. There was a wave-machine, and this tidal-pool thing where it pushed you around while you float there. And tons of bubbley-spa corners! :D WOO! I was impressed.
I stayed in for two hours, cos once I'm IN the pool it's virtually impossible to get me out again. Then Em's mum commented that we were well-chlorinated, ("there won't be anything left alive on our skin"). *laughs* Poor germies, all dead! So yeah, I should really go outside and roll in the dirt or something, XDDDD.
But wouldn't it suck if Kusanagi-san could hear the dying screams of MICROBES? Poor guy ~_~;

Oh! Break open the champagne, 'cause I had my first dream with Keiichi in it! ^_^ (well...not including the dream I had where I had this huge long list and wrote Keiichi's name at the top of the page. Wow, the symbolism there! XD) I think it was brought on by watching Cardcaptors on TV. What happened was, Fujitaka had become an engineer on a train. Keiichi was his son (*snik* Yeah, I know. I laughed for a long time once I'd woken up, but at the time it seemed totally logical!) helping out, and Li for some bizarre reason was there as well. They all wore stripey overalls and had on train-driver hats. So this train was about to de-rail, & Keiichi saved the day. Fujitaka goes "Well done, SON! ^___^" and Keiichi goes "^___^"...then they sat down for a cup of tea. Kei was using Li as a saucer (Yup. He made Li lie on the table, & he put his teacup on Li's back! Li was sweatdropping, of course).
...I don't know. Ask my subconscious.^^;;;;

Sat-chan, the other thing of interest on Kerianne's blog which I forgot to tell YOU was "OK... I've been doing random searches to try to find those fics that Kim keeps talking about that I've never seen (no luck yet... -_-)... and I found something rather interesting. "Yuzuriha" is part of the name of a Japanese tree. She's paired with Kusanagi, tree-hugger extraordinaire. Coincidence? I think not. o.O I always wondered where the name Yuzuriha came from..." Why is this a big deal? Because he's the only one. He's the only side-character (this doesn't include Kotori 'cause she wasn't a side-character) who wasn't killed off abruptly or simply forgotten about. He hung around for 13 volumes (some kind of record!!!), & well-and-truly muscled into Aoki's side-stories. ...Okay, Sugar, thumb-screws are off now. I just felt like teasing you about that! All hail Dai-kun, cos he is god! ;P

Speaking of Daisuke, REJOICE! For VENUS GOSPEL has been updated!! Go! Go! =) The new additions are Kotori and Daisuke. Dai-kun's is excelent, (right on the mark Linh-chan! If you want to know what I think of Dai-kun in the sack, I've just added a REALLY tasteless remark at the end of my disclaimers section *points right*. Said under the influence of too much 'Buffy' and the Thing of Evil I got from Lika-chan. I do apologise, but, y'know, unrepentant and all that! XDDDD
You probably noticed that I changed my description of Xisland in the links section, because I thought Sat-chan's wording was so hillarious (sounds like we go there to throw test-tubes of malaria and small-pox at each other! XD). However, this brings me to a serious point. A very odd topic for my first official blog-rant, but here we go: GERMS. Bugs, cooties, bacteria...we need 'em. My room-mate & I were taklking about this after we saw yet ANOTHER advert on TV for household-cleaners, soap, disinfectant, etc etc etc. What made us mad was that they're all frickin' ANTI-BACTERIAL! Gah! Doesn't everybody know that there's 'good' bacteria and 'bad' bacteria (& what I wouldn't give for Kusanagi and Yuuto to have THIS discussion in X! :P) and so; if you kill off the 'bad' bacteria, you also kill off the good ones as well. And these blasted adverts keep encouraging people to disinfect the whole house. May I ask: how the hell are we supposed to build up antibodies if there are no germs around? It's been scientifically proven that kids who have older siblings/pets/etc get more dirt & germs, and have a stronger immune system because of it. That's what vaccines are for, too! And besides, we have millions of little micro-organisms running around our bodies ALL THE TIME. It's ludicrous to say "kill them all!"
...ok, that was pointless! *laughs* I just felt like venting. *^__^*

Beast is incredibly sexy & gorgeous. His deep voice!!!! *goes all gooey* And yeah, I liked how he tried to be a little less volatile (with varying results: trying to hold the tea-cup correctly! XD But I'm beginning to think I should listen to the dancing cutlery ;p). I'm still mad how he changed back into the bland prince at the end. GRRRR! He was so great, & they wrecked him! ~_~;;; At least Belle had a moment of hesitation before she accepted him, but still...GRRRRRRRRR!

Lika-chan, I'll definitely have to try to find mooncakes somewhere in NZ! They sound seriously nummy! *^__^*

Trying to impress you again - I archived! And to change the colours, you go to the 'change template' bit & the colours are written between "" as words. You can always be tricky like me & do the colours as numbers, though. Look up HTML on google; there's tons of Basic HTML instruction pages. They give you the colour charts & things.

Maria, the Master rocked, eh! :P I liked the first Romana A LOT; she kept trying to prove that she was smarter than the Doctor! It was neat interaction between those two, sort of a love/hate thing. Actually I was SO cross when she changed into this little blonde thing(*laughs* must be the Beast's curse again!)...until I'd seen a few episodes and fell in love. I give an example for the DW impared:
