But I mean to say, if you were having dinner and all of a sudden the plates start recommending this mysterious "grey stuff" - you'd politely decline, wouldn't you. I certainly would, and in any case are you really going to trust the dancing cutlery's taste? XD
*sigh* Gods. Now I really want to have Keiichi (why do I keep thinking of him as a hot appetiser now? Or is that hot and appetising, heh heh) and Daisuke in my kitchen, singing 'Be our guest' and throwing food together. Or better yet, Keiichi dancing on the table in his mouse costume while Dai-kunnies does all the work (YAY, SlaveBoy!Daisuke. *wiggles eyebrows*)...yeesh, I need help...XDDDD

Sat-chan, I'm sure Kusa and Yuzu will get to kiss sometime (probably right at the end of the story *rolls eyes*), even if it's in bad circumstances like for Sora/Ara. And yeah, they are getting all chubby, aren't they. Works for some characters, as you said, but I don't like Arashi being so cutesy. She was much more 'streamlined' at the beginning, and her eyes were so pretty then.

Alison! *^_____^* Bless your sweet self for setting up that asuka mirror site. I thought I was going to have to wait much longer before seeing Honey-bun's adorable uncle. In colour, and then without his tie, no less! *squeals*

Guess what? :D I had sushi yesterday!! I've always wanted to try it, but chickened out cos of the raw factor. Anyway, I guess I was just hungry enough or something and so I go "well, you only live once" and bought it. LOVED it, too! And managed not to stuff up too badly with the chopsticks, heh heh^^; I think the only iffy thing was the smell of the seaweed. I like the taste...however that weird scent is so STRONG: it'll take a while to get accustomed to it.
I was in town, obviously, so after stuffing my gob I simply HAD to race into an internet cafe to see - well, to see if Sora was dead yet basically. (No I couldn't possibly wait for three hours until I got home ^_~). There was this new place, all cute & green, called 'Netopi@' so I checked it out (*trembling* "Sora! Don't be dead! I don't wanna be screaming in public!"). The guy in charge was Japanese, and really sweet! He bowed to me! *blush* It's so nice when they do that, but I feel so stupid if I try to bow back - I do it wrong!!!!!
Thank goodness Saharu's never, EVER, bowed to me. I've always wondered if it's hard for her to remember not to do a gesture which she's so used to. I know if I asked her she'd probably just go "It's not, eh". *laughs* In other words, she's getting a Kiwi accent. On top of her Osakan one, it must sound mighty strange to her family back in Japan! :P But I think her accent's cute, even with a down-under twang. And yeah, she does get L and R mixed up. It's really adorable. (I hastily add, she has never once said my name wrong. She says "AhmehLEEah" very definitively: not AmeRia *^__^*).
...but I digress. The guy at the cafe had a 'Princess Mononke' mousepad on his desk. I told him how much I loved that movie, & he seemed pretty happy.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!! And here I was going to comment "Aw, the boys are getting domestic, how cuuuuuuuuute", only Dai-chan seems to get some rather interesting ideas in the kitchen. XD XD To tell you the truth, I thought I'd get grabbed by the scruff of my neck and thrown out the nearest window for that stunt with the cucumber. But, hey, I'm sure not complaining! ;p

Here we go. I'm a Doctor Who fan. Absolutely HATE any other labels you might wanna pin on me, but that one's just me. It epitomises everything I love (whimsy, adventure, humour, and yeah weird aliens ^_~) and everything I believe in (bad fashion *smiles*, people in power are fine as long as they prove themselves, a friend is worth following to the ends of the universe, jellybabies are yummy, etc etc).
And of course I still get the fanzines and everything. I'm a real saddo! XD But tell me, Maria, what did you think of Romana 2, then? My fave Doctor is actually Tom Baker, it's just that Peter was my first and I imprinted on him or something! ^_^ Love him to death, only Tom made me laugh and was so utterly BONKERS. OH! I even met Tom in person!!!!!!!!!!!!! He shook my hand!!!!*faints* I never understood what people meant about "I'll never wash this hand again", but that time, yeah, definitely! :D

Anochronistic and Chronological crushes.

You see? As soon as I complain to you about the computer not working, it fixes itself! THIS IS THE POWER OF LOVE, I tell ya! ;p Oh, and another thing. Just to show my lack of technical prowess, I found out the other day that 'mambo.pitas' works as my blog address too!^^; DUH! Do I feel dumb...

Anyway, since you did it, and since I'm so horribly horribly HORRIBLY bad at hiding my affections, here is a list of fictional people I love. Note the present tense - I still absolutely adore all of them. I've put it in chronological order, except for Mister Number One who is in the top spot deliberately.

1. KEIICHI. - Poor sweetie-pie! *breaks down and cries* He's like a puppy who's been kicked down too many times, but keeps getting up and wagging his tail even though it hurts. And just look at his expression in X 11 (page 124) when he says "...wouldn't that make them your friends?" Awwwwwwwww, he is SUCH a sweetheart. The bonus for me is that he's loud and ditzy and so far from being anywhere near sophisticated - at long last a CLAMP character I can relate to! :D Cos, I mean I maaaaaaaay just relate to Yuzu & Karen a bit (and they're female after all), the problem there is that they're so very cool. Keiichi is not cool; ergo, I relate to that, and I like him for his imperfections. [age 25, non-lustful]
2. THE DOCTOR. -All together now: "Doctor...who?" Yep, that's correct! *chuckles* Anyway, I hadn't seen much sf before, but then there was this blonde man on a spaceship who got sucked out the airlock, and he used a cricket ball in space to get back, and that was real neat, so after that I never looked back. I became an sf fiend 'cause of him. The Doctor was cool since all the other characters used to either gather around him going "oh, Doctor, what's going on? DO SOMETHING!" or they'd be in authority & tell him off. And you know what he'd do? Whatever you least expected, just like with the cricket ball. He had no time for people in authority either, & he had this charming smile that he used on them when you just KNEW he was about to do something naughty! :D [aged 8, non-lustful]
3. REEPICHEEP. -(here you go, Lika, a MOUSE ^_~ From the Chronicles of Narnia) Reep was nifty. I mean, I liked all the Narnian characters (Mr Tuminus!!!), and some of the human ones were nice (Lucy and Caspian for e.g.), but Reep was the coolest one. He was so small, and so PROUD! He even made friggin' ASLAN give back his tail...everyone was afraid of Aslan, unless they were a fool. He bravely fought to the bitter end, & he was loyal as well. I never cried over any characters leaving except him; that speech he made about rowing until the boat sank, then swimming until he could no longer move any further, & then he would sink with his nose pointing towards the horizon...or something like that. I was just BLUBBING at that part! Then Lucy got to hug him at last (remember he was proud? Would've been SO offended at any other time).[age 10, non-lustful]
4. ROMANA TWO. -from 'Doctor Who', the regenerated Romana was blonde & playful & intelligent, but she knew when to step back for the Doc to take control. She also could get around the Doc's moods very easily to get her way!! She had a marvelous sense of whimsy, & she dressed similar to the Doc. I tried to dress like her. I admired her very much.[aged 11, pure adoration]
5. MERRIMAN. -Merry, in the first book of 'the Dark is Rising' sequence, was very avuncular. Then in the second book he didn't have his proxy family around, so he showed a very different side. Merry proved to be oblique and mysterious and quite cold at times...he did not function by the normal set of rules, nor did he have a special regard for one person's life weighed against the whole human race. He had a shock of white hair, he was old & possibly timeless, and he had this amazing beaky nose.[age 12, oh sweeeeet mystery]
6. AVON. - From Blakes 7, that's sf TV at it's most wobbly & brilliant. Am I an Avon junkie? Yes. Did I yell and throw things at the screen whenever he did something bad? Yes. Did I love his silver glitter top and his black leather with studs? Yes. Was he evil & amoral? Yes. Did I live only to hear him drawl softly "Well now..." with those thin lips and hooded eyes? Yes. Could I get used to a Universe without him? Never, I adored the scumbag. Avon, you better not have died at the end there.[aged 12 & 13, 100% lust had I but known it for what it was]
7. DAISUKE AND ARASHI. -How awful of me to lump these two together. And yet I love them equally, & I fell for them at the same time. Dai-chan...what can I say, I thought he was awesome. He looked at Kamui askance with this almost betrayed look in his eyes and said "I can't believe you --" And he kept saying it, and he kept on saying it no matter what the evidence, until X 9 when there was no way he could deny it any more. *sigh* So cool. Nobody was more cross than me when he APOLOGISED to Kamui. Talk about screaming fits that day! ("AAAAAAAAARGH!!! HE SAID SORRY! NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!>_<"). You gotta give him credit for fighting with BOTH Kamui's as well, & as for Ara-chan you gotta give her the same for saving his butt in the first instance. She is sooooooooo beautiful, her hair flying across her face & her somber grey eyes. She never flares up like Daisuke, & you can tell that she's lonely. That sword is cool too. I'm afraid that I'm a bit dopey about these things, & since nobody talks much about these two anyway I was unaware of how strong my feelings were (until last year for Ara and this year for Dai).[age 20, lust]
8. SCULLY. -Well, Lika, at least you knew you were in love with her! When I went gah-gah over the X Files, I straight away identified with Mulder ("IT'S ALIENS!!!" Yeah, and I'd spent every year of my LIFE since age 8 saying that...^_^), but I wasn't sure about Scully. I respected her SO MUCH, & she could be so intimidating. But eventually I started falling off the couch & gazing dreamily into her eyes any time she entered a scene. Even then, I thought I just fancied her. I wanted to buy this huuuuuuuge poster of her in lingerie, but I didn't & really regretted it afterwards. By the time the X Files Movie came out, I'd FINALLY gotten a clue & realised how I felt about her...talk about frantic when she got slimed by the aliens![age 22, lust]
