This layout features kazetsukai from CLAMP's X manga (the blustery one and the breezy one). The 'butterfly wings' theory is about cause & effect. All quotes are from Brad Schmidt's fanfic "Butterflies" featured in TSV #55 (Oct '98). And yes, I drew that pic^^;;;
TOTALLY forgot to talk about seeing the second LotR movie (more than a week ago now^^;;;). My favourite character in the first movie was Gandalf; this time around I liked Gimli the best. I loved Aragorn's line about dwarf women having beards! Nice one! XD Legolas/Aragorn NOTHING - Legsy was always trying to protect Gimli which was sweet. ^__^ And Gimli didn't want "the Elf" to know he let Aragorn toss him. LOL Story-wise, I thought the Ents worked really well (Dad points out that there wasn't enough with Fangorn Forest, hmmmmm probably not), so did Sam/Frodo/Gollum (Sam & Frodo making gooey eyes at each other ROFL), I agree with the general disaproval at the handling of poor Faramir, and WOW all the fighting!!!! The fight scenes were great - real horses and all.
Hmmm, I'm still not sure what suits Hinoto-hime better - wings or tentacles. XD Wings would make her look like Suu from 'Clover'. But tentacles are sexy! BWAHAHAHAHAHA~! ^_~

Ummmmm, I seem to be having trouble with EF - the links at the bottom (Updates , Contact Information, Guestbook, datenshi.nu) work fine, but I can't get the main links to work. Is this Inuki Mark 3's fault? I know you told me that macs are incompatible with some stuff. Inukiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii........:/
Thinking about tie-tying (& that is a great layout ^_^), I'd have to say that Hokuto/Subby does count since it's an intimate relationship. Probably the most intimate Subby ever had. As you point out, it's not romantic, but even so. BTW, if it makes you feel any better I don't think Kamui & Keiichi would ever get together given their circumstances in X. Kamui could still use a good friend though (if Keiichi survives >__> has he been evacuated or what? <__< it would be nice if CLAMP lets us know in the end).

Yay, Fuuma Claus (AKA Dad) finally got the new computer. It's a mac *ducks* and it's opaque/white/transparent, so of course I dubbed it "Inuki Mark Three". hee hee Inuki-chan can play DVDs, goooooood boy! *pets it* I've been having an OMG!-fest (mostly because those are the only DVDs I own, apart from the X movie). On the special features, you can watch the episodes with a running commentary by the voice actors - is that otaku or WHAT? *lol* You may as well have "I have no friends to watch this with" tatooed on your forehead. I might add, I did watch the first episode with Arthur-san *kicks him in the head affectionately, alla Tamayo in AL*...my running commentary was "OHHHHHHHH THAT'S SOOOOOOOO CUUUUUUUTE! OHHHHHHHHH THAT'S SOOOOOO CUUUUUUUTE!" Belldandy's such a sap I want to hate her, but somehow I just can't do it. OMG! has an amazing feelgood factor. ^___^
Hey, it's not my fault that all the online tests keep matching me up very strongly with Hinoto-hime. ^_- I dunno, I just can't help feeling sorry for her. She lived her whole life in inhuman conditions, treated as a "tool" by the government, and cut off from other people. The worst thing is that she spent most of her time sleeping, but could never get any proper rest. That's awful!! I couldn't stand that, GAH. <_<; ...Besides, evil /hinoto/ is just so sexy!!!!!! LOL

It's not like Kotori rocks my world or anything, but she was a nice person who despite physical frailties was actually very strong. And I totally got her in volume one of X. She was great introducing the whole messy story-line. XD
I LOVE that wallpaper!!!! :D I'd never seen a song that fitted Yuzu/Inuki before (which song is it? *prodprodprod*), & they are my fave X pairing after all. *grins* Kakyou's awesome as the Wheel of Fortune; of course it suits him so well. ^_^ As much as I whinge about Kakyou, he did have a lot of potential as a character. I guess CLAMP just had so many other characters to deal with that they shunted him into "repetitive narrator" position.

This year I'll be working at a different library, & I just signed on today! ^_^ There were about eight of us new recruits, actually - typically, they made us have our photos taken for ID cards when we were all nervous "noooo I don't want my picture taken" sort of mood. XD It reminded me of back when I was a student, 'cos the photos always turn out ghastly-looking of course. And you have to display them for a whole YEAR...LOL~! I'm going to miss the old library. *sigh* I liked going out into the countryside, green hills, bunnies, etc. Though, my new workplace is near enough to home that I can walk there, so YAY. :P

Non-Dragons it is, then. :) My intro was the initial Viz version of X (seperate issues and all!) so it was all Kotori/Fuuma/Kamui (of whom, I thought Kotori worked the best at that stage, & I really felt for her). Then I liked Yuuto, Kanoe & Sats; 'cos they seemed SO cool and unpredictable. Then was the big S/S deal, which was awesome fun. Now I keep going crazy for Non-Dragons. *waves little flag*

XD There was also a Monarch butterfly eating nectar from these purple flowers (Hebe? or something like that)...they're all over white spots. Insects are so fascinating. ^_^

Mostly 'cause I agree with the non-angst sentiment, 'cause I was very sceptical about Pocky and Cookies & Cream icecream being any good (only to find that they are DIVINE and Yuzu-chan was right all along! I shall never doubt you again, Yuzu! Inuki is real! XD), and 'cause Yuzuriha is just a cool character who found an actually good man. Re: Kusa, yes I believe Yuzu-chan looks beneath the surface with regards to him. As for the shrine, I liked the comments on Inuki and their tarot card: "The lady is not controlling the "beast". The animal self or animal aspect in our life that she is caressing is a willing participant. I would say "tamed" except that to some this would imply coercion into submissiveness. Our animal aspects may be thought controlled, kept deep inside us and hidden away from view, and ourselves for that matter. In this case, it has an ugly way of showing its head at some very inopportune times. Our animal, instinctual, dark, or human side, however you wish to address it, exists. It is needed to make us whole and only when we accept this and integrate this side of ourselves with respect and love will the "beast" be calm" -- that's what I like about Yuzu. She looks like an innocent little girl, but she has the spirit of a wolf. *_* "Strength is not about the approach, its about the inner convictions you possess" -- TOTALLY Yuzu. She may be naive & she may get into trouble over her convictions, and she may have doubts, but she will always follow what she believes whole-heartedly with an unexpected inner strength (which she imagines to be a puppy, but it's actually herself). *WHEW* ^_^
Speaking of tarot cards, I got this Dai-centric doujinshi (heh heh, Daisuke strikes again. It's called 'XYZ' and it's not by Miss Odoru Haniwa Kikaku who drew the X Day series. So we're not the only crazy ones ^_-). Therein is a rather nice pic with Dai depicted as the 'Knight of Pentacles'. (Knight?...knight again...I guess I'll have to agree, although the word I'd use for him most would be "stubborn" or "loyal" or "slave" or "boy" XD. Sarai and Maria get cookies anyway). So I dug out my old used-as-student-film-prop Rider Waite deck to find out the meaning, & BOO HOWDY, it seems to fit: Utility, serviceableness, interest, responsibility, rectitude; a useful man, useful discoveries. So I read on to see if any sound like Keiichi, the best match being: Page of Cups Fair young man, one impelled to render service and with whom the Querent (in this case, it'll be Kamui's fortune of course ^_-); a studious youth; news, message, good augury; application, reflection, meditation; also these things directed to business. Not to mention the pic has a young man holding a fish in a cup, so I thought of the CLAMP fugu! ;p And Hokuto: Ace of Wands Creation, invention, enterprise, the powers which result in these; principle, beginning, source; birth, family, origin; the beginning of enterprises; according to another account, money, fortune, inheritance. Another reading predicts calamities of all kinds. In any case, Hokuto would be cool as Ace of Wands.
