So I finally got to see it, as there was an advance screening this weekend. It's soooooo sweeeeeet!!!!!!!!! #^___^# The music is just wonderful, the themes are only too relevant (I was cringing at some points, 'specially when Chihiro has to ask for a job - ahyahyah *nods sympathetically*), I love the bit where she's walking in the sea along the train tracks, & the bit where they're all flying, and I cried at the end when Chihiro lets go of Haku's hand. *sniffle*

Now. #^____^# Saw 'Princess Mononoke' on the big screen a couple of days ago. Third time round it still has me totally awestruck & gobsmacked. The music is wonderful too. It makes me want to cry. I'd totally forgotten that Neil Gaiman did the adaptation of the English-version script! *bows to Gaiman-sama* What this waters down to is that I've got to get the movie soundtrack and the Japanese 'Sandman' book. As for the film I'll just note that it's so good it's impossible to fangirl about (you mean I have to say something sensible for a change? waaah! *fwap fwap*) and I dunno, just makes me want to renounce the plastics industry or at least try harder NOT to wreck the environment any more. And the wolves. I love the wolves. ^_^

I've finally been able to drag myself away from the hot Hinoto-on-Hinoto colour pic. *lol* I downloaded the trailer for Spirited Away and am in love with it already (not really a suprise as I saw 'Princess Mononoke' twice, two nights running - ditto for 'Kiki's Delivery Service'). The 'girl and her dragon' bit is really rather delightful...as a kid all my imaginary friends were dragons (green ones^^). Yay for Haku & his pageboy haircut. *g* *sparklies*
